Grades 6-8 mathematics courses
The grades 6-8 mathematics courses cover topics from middle
school mathematics curriculum defined by state standards and
NCTM standards. These courses are designed to help students
perform better in the standards-based exams that are required
by the "No Child Left Behind" Legislation and to prepare
students for advanced secondary level mathematics courses. The
courses have the following instructional sequence: direct instruction
and solved examples, guided practice, independent practice and
evaluation.
